# Ably cost tracking

Sumloop pulls Ably usage on a schedule and puts it in the same ledger
as every other vendor a team pays.

## How to connect Ably

1. In the Ably dashboard, open your account settings and create a Control API access token with read access.
2. Copy your account ID from the same page.
3. Paste the account ID and token below.
4. Ably reports messages, not dollars — set a price per message under Rates after connecting.
