# Ahrefs cost tracking

Sumloop pulls Ahrefs usage on a schedule and puts it in the same ledger
as every other vendor a team pays.

## How to connect Ahrefs

1. In Ahrefs, open Account settings > API keys and create a key. Only workspace owners and admins can reach this page.
2. Paste the key below. Ahrefs keys expire after a year, so this will need replacing then.
3. Ahrefs reports API units, not dollars — set a price per unit under Rates after connecting. The seat subscription is not exposed by the API; import that invoice separately.
