# Bitwarden cost tracking

Sumloop pulls Bitwarden usage on a schedule and puts it in the same ledger
as every other vendor a team pays.

| | |
| --- | --- |
| What Sumloop reads | subscribed seats |
| Measured in | subscribed seats |
| Credential | Client ID, Client secret, Region |
| Access | Read-only. Sumloop cannot change a resource or spend money. |
| Annual commitments | Spread by Sumloop |

## How to connect Bitwarden

1. In the Bitwarden web vault, open your organization > Settings > Organization info and click View API key.
2. Copy the client ID (`organization.<id>`) and client secret.
3. Paste both below, setting Region to `eu` or `gov` if your organization is not on the US cloud.
4. Bitwarden reports seats, not dollars — set a per-seat price under Rates after connecting.
