# Redis Cloud cost tracking

Sumloop pulls Redis Cloud cost on a schedule and puts it in the same ledger
as every other vendor a team pays.

| | |
| --- | --- |
| What Sumloop reads | monthly cost in USD |
| Reported in | USD |
| Credential | API account key, API secret key |
| Access | Read-only. Sumloop cannot change a resource or spend money. |
| Annual commitments | Spread by Sumloop |

## How to connect Redis Cloud

1. In Redis Cloud, open Access Management > API Keys and enable the API.
2. Create an API key: copy the account key and the generated secret key.
3. Paste both below. Cost reports are generated asynchronously and may take a few minutes.
